We’re trying to use the layer name in rhino to assign the geometry to a model sub-category in Revit. That way, the geometry coming in through Speckle will have a material applied to it in Revit that it gets from the material assigned to its model sub category.
How can this be achieved or is there a workaround or a different workflow altogether to do this?
Hey @vermaCBT ,
This is not supported via Mapper but you can do so with our Grasshopper BIM Nodes: Grasshopper | Speckle Docs
You’ll need to select the Freeform Element node, please keep in mind that since for each element a new family needs to be created in the background, it will be a farly slow process when receiving in Revit.
