Adding a material to a rhino modeled geometry that is loaded into Revit using Speckle works!

We made a stretched metal geometry in rhino and then loaded it into a curtain wall panel family, which is then hosted on a curtain wall. Is there a way that speckle can help to add the native revit material parameter to this geometry?

Hi @hgebca,

It’s not very clear what you’re trying to achieve here. Could you give us more information about this?

  • Screenshots/gifs of the process
  • Link to the speckle stream you sent that curtain wall to
  • Rhino file with the CurtainWall as you set it before sending
  • Revit file with the received curtain wall. Ideally, it would also contain another curtain wall instance that exemplifies your expected result in Revit, for comparison.

This will help us figure out what’s going on, and if what you’re experiencing is a bug or just a Revit feature we don’t support yet.
