I have over 20 years of progressive experience in solution architecture and software development, with the last 14+ years in the electrical utility space. I have been doing software/system architecture, systems design, and volunteer consulting across a broad range of design technologies and related software. I have a great deal of experience 2D and 3D designs and integrating them with supporting software and metadata. That work has made me a deep believer in the idea that with good BIM data, high quality models reflecting that data, and good software design we can change the way we do our work for the betterment of all our consumers and peers. I also believe that this work isn’t limited to the Utility industry; it can be leveraged in any engineering based company. I have a strong background in the Autodesk design tool stack, Microsoft Technologies, Service Oriented Architectures, .NET, NodeJS and Internet/Intranet/Windows development, as well as a decent amount of experience in Civil drafting, surveying, and construction.
