Power BI Visual Color Overrides Not Persistent

Hi,

I’ve recently upgraded to Speckle Version 3.0.1 and have encountered a persistent issue with model coloring in the viewer.

When I apply colors using either “Color By” or “Color Override”, everything works as expected initially. However, as soons as the visual reloads - for example, when navigating to another page and then returning - the model loses its applied colors and reverts to the default grey appearance. Interestingly, the settings for the coloring are still visibly saved in the settings, but they are no longer applied to the model.

Is this a known bug in 3.0.1, or is there a workaround to persist the color settings across visual reloads?

It is a known issue that we are going to work on upcoming weeks.
