I wont be able to attend, but my two cents is that going from one-to-one mappings to a fully agreed standard is too large a jump. There should be a way for ‘like minded’ packages to share an agreed format, without it being forced on all connectors.
For example you can imagine an Oasys standard that AdSec and GSA speak to, without necessarily forcing that on ETABS. That would allow a degree of ‘hub and spoke’ connection to evolve.
