I tested sending geometry from Grasshopper to Sketchup. Sending the geometry works really good, but adding information to the model seems to be not possible jet. It would bee nice if we could send layer/tag information from Grasshopper to Sketchup. Similar to the connection between Revit and Sketchup.
Adding colours like discribed here:Adding Colours and Materials to Your Grasshopper Models would already be of great help.

Currently, grashopper does not support collections, which are Speckle’s way of organizing elements. However, there is a workaround that you can use. You can bake your geometry using Elefront and then send it to Speckle using the Rhino connector. This will ensure that you have the layers from Rhino in Sketchup with materials and everything intact.
Thank you for the reply and thank you for the great plug-ins you are developing.
I will try the “via Rhino” way.
Never the less it would be nice to have the same possibilities for Grasshopper in the future.
