Hey!
Why do I get this error when I enable property transfer (Send Properties or Send Listing Parameters or both of these parameters)?
This situation occurred when the model had more than 10k rows in Power BI from the Archicad. But in this case, I noticed the same problem with 6k rows. Is this how it should be?
Hey @_Sergii_Holomah ,
Can you check if it works when you uncheck “Send Properties” and “Send Listing Parameters” options?
Hi @_Sergii_Holomah,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We are aware of this limitation and are actively working on a solution for our Next-Gen Archicad Connector. Due to the slow performance of Archicad’s API when extracting properties, we are considering implementing a feature that allows users to select specific properties to publish, rather than publishing all of them at once. However, please note that this feature may not be implemented if we find an alternative solution.
Thank you for your patience.
Hey @_Sergii_Holomah ,
Great post!
Could you share how you managed to install Speckle on Archicad? I’m currently working with an external engineer, and we’ve been having a tough time getting Speckle installed correctly, only speckle gen were installed. We’re encountering a lot of issues with IFC files coming from Archicad—especially with lost property sets and parameters. Right now, I have to open the IFC in Blender first, then send it to Revit via Speckle, which allows us to retain the geometry but unfortunately loses most of the data.
Any tips or insights would be super helpful!
Thanks to Speckle and the development team, and this forum, I have already managed to implement many useful features for my company. If you have a specific question or an example file that doesn’t work, I’ll be happy to help you
